Our Passion for the Ocean
ACK Surf School is Nantucket’s most personal surfing experience on-island. Owned by Gaven Norton, a local surfer who was born and raised on the beaches of Nantucket, ACK Surf provides its' students with a true Nantucket surfing adventure. We offer private and group lessons, along with rentals. All equipment is provided for the full surf experience!
Classes & Rentals
BEACH CAMP
$600/per person
5 Days
During this camp you will have the opportunity to strengthen your surfing, enjoy boogie boarding, swimming, and other beach games!
This is for a surfer with the ability to paddle on their own and an understanding of how to catch a wave that needs more of a fine tuning.

PRIVATE LESSON
$90 per hour/per person
1-2 people maximum
A private lesson is 1-2 surfers to 1 instructor. These lessons are ideal beginners, small children, or someone who needs a refresher lesson.

GROUP LESSON
$70 per hour/per person
3+ people minimum
A group lesson is 3 or more surfers to 1 instructor. This is ideal for groups of adults, teens, and people who have surfed before.

- Cancelation Policy -
PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING YOUR SESSION:
Reservations must be cancelled by email at least 24 hours before your lesson in order to receive a refund or credit or rescheduling the lesson. Refund will be 50% of the total cost, for instance, if the lesson is $80 and the cancelation is on time, we will refund $40, however if the deposit was $40 then there is no refund.
There are no refunds or credits for no shows and/or cancellations requested less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson.
Changing or rescheduling your reservation within 24 hours is subject to a rescheduling fee of $40 and no refunds will be provided for the initial booking.
No refunds will be given on surf lesson packages after the lessons have started.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING YOUR SESSION:
Once you arrive at the beach there are no refunds unless lifeguards or instructors shut down the lesson. Safety is our number one priority.
We want to get you on the water and credit can be applied in certain circumstances.
There is no expiration on the credit and it is transferable to friends and family.
